Take Kubo has found his place at Real Sociedad. The Japanese striker has established himself as an undisputed starter in Imanol Alguacil's team and has become one of the cornerstones of the attack. Without going any further, during this season he has scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists.
This situation aroused the interest of Real Madrid. The 'Merengues' side sold him to the 'txuri urdin' team, but kept a preferential option to buy him back, as well as 50% of the capital gain from a future sale.
Asked about the possibility of bringing Kubo back, Ancelotti responded clearly at the press conference: "We are considering it, he is playing very well but we will talk about it in a few months, knowing that it is very complicated to find playing time in this squad".
Imanol, for his part, far from keeping quiet, referred to Real Madrid's supposed interest in his player: "I see him as a 'txuri-urdin'.... He has more than proved his commitment and how he feels about this shirt".
Kubo has a contract with Real Sociedad until mid-2027 and has a termination clause of 60 million euros.
