Madrid and Atletico send scouts to Brazil to watch Danilo

Danilo dos Santos de Oliveira, more simply called Danilo, is on both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid's radar, according to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur.

Allegedly, both Madrid clubs have already sent scouts to Brazil to follow the 21 year old from Palmeiras, who is contracted to the club until 2026.

Danilo rose from Palmeiras' youth academy, a club where he made his first team debut and has now made 109 appearances. He has scored 11 goals and provided six assists.

The young central defensive midfielder has recently been called up to the Brazilian squad, a reward for his excellent performances for Abel Ferreira in the middle of the park. He has shone there due to his progressive passing and his ability to create chances.

Just a few days ago, the newspaper 'Sport' reported on Danilo's potential move to Barca, a club who he has already been offered to, but the Catalans have rejected the proposal.
