Mignolet has not played regularly since the first half of last season, after he lost his place to Loris Karius before Alisson was signed over the summer to claim the number one spot.
His defensive colleague Lovren has also not played for the 'Reds' either yet this season, after sustaining an injury and then falling behind the pecking order to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
Jurgen Klopp is thought to favour rotating his squad for the tie on Wednesday evening, with Alisson and van Dijk likely to make way for the out-of-favour duo of Mignolet and Lovren.
“Dejan [Lovren] looks actually quite good, he has trained completely normal now four times. He looks ready.” Jurgen Klopp told reporters.
"Simon would have been ready to go to another club to be the number one in the transfer window,
"That was clear, but we couldn’t do it. Since then he’s been brilliant, he trains fantastic and he deserves that game tomorrow. I’m really happy to give him that opportunity" the Liverpool manager added.
