Adrian San Miguel, the Liverpool goalkeeper, said that Virgil van Dijk's injury is "a huge setback for the team."
"I'm not going to lie, it's a huge setback for us. It's going to be tough, it's going to be difficult because not only he ias one of the best, if not the best central defender in the world, but also he is a leader on and off the pitch," the Spanish keeper told 'DAZN'.
The Dutchman got injured in the game against Everton a few days ago and he has suffered an ACL tear which will see him out for several months.
In addition, Adrian, who these days has substituted the injured Alisson Becker, spoke about the rest of the Spanish goalkeepers in the Premier League like David de Gea (Man Utd) and Kepa Arrizabalaga (Chelsea).
"I know his personality and he could be one of the best goalkeepers in the last decade who has come here to the Premier League," he said about De Gea.
On Kepa, who has lost the number one spot to Edouard Mendy, he said he's a "fighter" and that what he has achieved as a goalkeeper is "on his own merit".
