VFL Bochum have looked towards the Premier League to reinforce their squad. They have signed Jurgen Locadia from Brighton until the end of the season.
He was born in Emmen, Netherlands, and he has played practically his entire career at PSV and Brighton apart from two brief spells at Cincinnati and Hoffenheim.
As he was hardly playing for Brighton (he has made just three appearances this season), the Dutchman has signed on a free transfer until June 2022 in search of a new opportunity.
Locadia, who can play both upfront and on the left, will wear the number 19 shirt at Bochum and he wants to take advantage of the opportunity to get more minutes.
"I'm glad that the change to Bochum has come off. I'm curious about the team and I'm keen to get back playing in the Bundesliga," he admitted.
