The Swede spent nine years as a player at Arsenal, and was part of the famous 'Invincibles' team in 2003-4 that went the entire Premier League season unbeaten.
After having retired, Ljunberg is now the coach of the club's U-23 team after spending time as assistant coach at Wolfsburg for a brief time in 2017.
Although it does not have the rigours of senior team football, one of the side's star players has revealed that Ljunberg demands the most from his players.
"They’re very high [standards] and he’s a great coach as well and I think he’s got very high standards for the young group that we have" Reis Nelson told 'Arsenal TV'
"'I think we can go on to carry our trophy again this season if we play well and train hard".
Nelsen was on the scoresheet as his team drew with Brighton, and will hope that his coach's exacting standards will help him push in to the first team this season.
