However it has been made clear by officials at Old Trafford that the player will not be allowed to move to another team within the Premier League. The future of Valdés seems increasingly uncertain and it is unclear whether the Spanish keeper will leave England to look for playing time elsewhere.
The poor performances by Mignolet have caused Liverpool to ask questions over the situation regarding Victor Valdes. The reds have not been happy with the inconsistency of the Belgium keeper and look for another solution.
However Liverpool wouldn't be willing to pay anything for the Spaniard and if they are unable to sign him now, they would wait for his contract at Manchester United to finish before making a move.
The fact that Valdes wasn't a free agent before the transfer window closed on September 1st means that he would be unable to sign a contract with another club until January, should United terminate his contract early.
Despite pressure from the players agent, Manchester United would not let Valdés go for free, let alone go to one of their Premier League rivals. The board has made it clear that the only option would be to play away from England if he wants to start playing now.
