Liverpool sent scouts to watch Leverkusen thrashing of Bayern

Liverpool are interested in Xabi Alonso as a replacement for Jurgen Klopp, who has already announced he is leaving the Reds. According to the 'Mirror', the English side sent scouts to the top-of-the-table clash between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich last weekend.

The Basque coach is the man of the moment in Germany. He can snatch a Bundesliga title from the all-powerful Bayern after a long time. This has not gone unnoticed by one of Europe's biggest clubs, who must find a coach for next season who can replace one of the best coaches of recent years in the best possible way.

The Spaniard is not only wanted by Liverpool. Other big European clubs are interested in his services. For example, Bayern Munich, where Tuchel is not in a good situation, or FC Barcelona, who already know that Xavi Hernandez will not continue next season.
