Liverpool consider making a move for Joao Felix

Time is running out and the Joao Felix transfer saga is far from resolved. While Barcelona, the player's number one option, is becoming increasingly difficult, the Portuguese must consider other alternatives  if he is to leave Atletico before the end of the summer transfer window.

Back in the 'Colchoneros' squad for Monday's trip to Rayo Vallecano, the 23-year-old watched his side crushing victory against Rayo Vallecano from the bench.

According to English media outlet 'Sky Sports', one club could make a last-minute bid for the Portuguese winger, and that club is Liverpool. The Reds are preparing to receive a huge offer from Saudi Arabia for Mohamed Salah, and must be prepared for a potential departure.

Al-Ittihad could offer around €150 million to secure the services of the Egyptian, something the English club would find hard to refuse. So Joao Felix is on Liverpool's radar with three days to go before the transfer window closes.

The Portuguese international had announced his desire to play in the Champions League this season, a condition which Liverpool did not fulfil, and which could have had an influence on the player's choice.

The advantage is that the striker knows the Premier League well, having played in the second half of last season on loan at Chelsea, where he scored 4 goals in 16 games.
