There was just 23 minutes between Liverpool opening the scoring and them going 5-0 up at the end of the first half.
Cain opened the scoring after four minutes and, in the 18th minute, Jones converted a penalty to extend the lead. From then on, Napoli experienced, almost certainly, their worst nine minutes ever in youth football.
Dixon-Bonner made it three in the 22nd minute, Jones got his second two minutes later and Longstaff made it 5-0 in the 27th. Luckily for the Italians, Liverpool did not score any more before half-time.
If the senior team are being inconsistent, it is not getting any better for the under 19s. They are last in the group with just a single point and until half-time in this match, they had conceded 21 goals in five matches and scored just five.
