Lille await Man City bid for Soumare

Soumare is a promising box-to-box midfielder who has been described as the "new Yaya Toure" and the "new Paul Pogba"

The starlet moved to the 'Great Danes' to gain first team opportunities after spending six years at Paris Saint-Germain's academy. 

However, the French team need to sell the talented youngster to raise funds to comply with Financial Fair Play rules.

The English media outlet have alleged that this ideally needs to be done in January, although Lille would want to keep the Frenchman on loan until the summer, if they can.  

Man City are not the only Premier League side reportedly interested in the youngster, however, with rivals Manchester United and Everton among a number of English clubs who have travelled to France to watch Soumare play. 

The 18-year-old has already made 10 appearances, seven of which have come in Ligue 1, as his team fight to avoid relegation and a possible financial penalty.
