Lewandowski gives Barca lead with typical striker's finish

All news is good news at Barcelona at the moment. The new signings have settled perfectly and they feel they can compete the rest of the top clubs. You only have to see Lewandowski, who he is a nailed on starter in attack.

The match against Valladolid could not have started better. Barca dominated from the off and gradually got into their opponent's area. Just after the midway point in the first half, the Pole opened the scoring. 

Barcelona's new number 9 did not fail to get on the scoresheet. He received the pass from another signing in Raphinha, who showed his precision and he put a perfect cross from the right which beat all the Valladolid defence.

Lewandowski was the most alert. He got away from his marker and as soon as he saw the ball leave Raphinha's feet, he ran towards the ball as if his life depended on it. He got away from Joaquin and stuck his foot out to tap in from close range.

Just before the interval, Barca made it two after Dembele found Pedri in the box and he beat Masip with a lovely finish.
