Levante are still resisting attempts from clubs to sign Jose Campana. The midfielder, who has just been called up for the first time for the Spanish national team, is more and more sought after and is wanted by many clubs.
Throughout the summer, Levante have received important offers which they have been constantly rejecting. There was always talk of Sevilla being the team most interested in the midfielder, but now a Premier League side want the player.
According to 'AS' this Saturday, Leeds United have put 15 million euros on the table for the midfielder. An offer which Levante have declined.
Levante are not willing to let Campana go for less than 25 million euros, an amount which Leeds are not willing to pay. In fact, after this refusal, Leeds unsuccessfully tried to get Michel Cuisance of Bayern Munich.
Despite that, the Spanish newspaper reports that Leeds have not given up on the player and they may knock on Levante's door once again.
