After Leeds' interest in Marc Roca was confirmed, an agreement with the English side has been closed. Fabrizio Romano, transfer market expert, has confirmed this on his social media. The deal will be made official in the days to come.
The midfielder from Bayern decided to leave this summer due to the extremely limited opportunities he has had at the Allianz Arena. His spell at the German giants was characterised by spending most of his time on the bench.
Now, Leeds will make use of his services and it seems as though he will be an important player for them, as he is being named as the natural replacement for Kalvin Phillips. The 26 year-old Englishman is being courted by Manchester City, who know that he will cost 70 million euros.
The deal for the Spaniard will cost 12 million, plus add ons, which could see the fee rise to 14 or 15 million euros. A verbal agreement has been reached and this week the player will complete his medical and sign his new contract soon. His contract will last until 2026.
