Le Normand back with Atletico but will not be travelling to Mallorca

There is no time to rest for Atletico Madrid, who on Friday continued their preparations for the league game against Mallorca. The Rojiblanco side travel to the Balearic Islands in search of three important points to stay in the fight for the top of the table.

The main novelty in the morning training session was the presence of Robin le Normand. The centre-back joined up with the rest of his teammates after his injury suffered in the Madrid derby against Real Madrid.

Since then, the Spanish international has missed up to eight games for Atletico. This has been felt by the team, losing the defensive reliability he had gained with the European champions.

Although Le Normand will not be travelling to Mallorca, his incorporation into training is one of the best pieces of news. In addition, both Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Llorente joined the group on Thursday afternoon.
