The incident caused a certain amount of handbags from both sides as Uruguay, led by skipper Diego Godin reacted furiously to the play-acting.

It turns out he wasn't the only one, with Deschamps not impressed by his star's reaction either.

"Kylian, Kylian, oh Kylian, listen to me! Stop arsing about, stop and that's it. You don't deserve it  but don't do that! Come on don't give up," Deschamps could be seen screaming in images captured by 'Telefoot'.

"I'm his coach and I want the best for him, he knows that. He's soeone who deserves all the admiration for what he has achieved, but when there is something that I'm not happy with... It's for his own good anyway, I told him," Deschamps explaine don 'Telefoot'.
