Laurent Koscielny, who retired from football because of racist accusations, has still not taken a final decision on whether he will retire. His former teammates in the team were not happy with him leaving. The club had pointed to an alleged lack of professionalism, according to 'RMC Sport', but the rest of the players are worried about the treatment of a senior player.
Comments given to local paper 'Sud Quest' last week refuted accusations of racism against him and Benoit Costil, which were made by the main ultras groups after an argument with the goalkeeper.
However, Koscielny was ambiguous over his future, simply indicating that he had "decided to hang up his boots when he would preferred to help the club on the pitch", pointing out that he had accepted the offer because of the club's financial interests.
It was also announced that his new role is "the continuation of a career who has earned the respect of all his teammates, coaches and the people he has spent time with at his club and national team.
