Middlesbrough drew yesterday 1-1 with West bromwich in the 23rd round of the Premier League. Karanka is happy with the result and believes his players gave their best.
"It was a good game," he told Sky Sports. "I think we showed personality because again we've conceded a goal at the beginning of the game from a set piece. The players got better and then after we equalised we had chances to score - as a coach I can't say anything to my players because they have done everything.
"They [West Brom] are a really good team, consistent, with 33 points and really experienced, we knew it was going to be tough.
"It was frustrating because you know what is going to happen and in the end we conceded a goal from that set-piece. It's frustrating but again the reaction was good, we know that every single point is going to be really, really tough and we have to keep going."
"Someone says it is a penalty, another one says it isn't but we have a point and that is the main thing. The point, the performance and the personality of the team was all on the pitch."
However, the Spaniard insists his squad will keep fighting until the end.
