Kalinic signs for Hellas Verona

Kalinic is a new Hellas Verona player. The club confirmed the arrival of the forward from Atlético Madrid, where he wasn't going to have chances this season, and less after the signing of Luis Suárez. This could be his chance to shine.

The player signs a two-year contract. i.e. until June 2022. None of the two parties revealed how much he signed for, although, probably, it's around 3 million euros which is his market value.

"Atlético de Madrid and Hellas Verona have reached an agreement over the transfer of Nikola Kalinic. The Croat arrived at our club in 2018 and played on loan at AS Roma last season. During the 2018/19 season, he was involved in 24 games for Atleti", the Spanish club indicated.

It is a great signing for the Italian outfit. Last season he was on loan at Roma. He'll have no trouble adapting to a league where he already knows what it's like to be under pressure to fight for the top spots in the table.
