Juventus and Barcelona, two of the most active clubs in the current transfer market, could once again be involved in a swap deal, as was already agreed with the exchange of Miralem Pjanic and Arthur Melo.
In this case, as is being reported by 'Tuttosport', Juventus would be interested in securing the services of Ousmane Dembélé, who is expected to be an important player for Barcelona under Ronald Koeman in the upcoming 2020-21 season.
The 'Old Lady' would be willing to let Douglas Costa go, who has been the player offered to Barcelona. Those in Turin though are well aware that the deal is complicated, to say the least.
The president of Barca, Josep Maria Bartomeu, stated that Dembélé would not be one of the players to leave the Camp Nou, although also included in the list of 'untransferables' was Nélson Semedo, who was recently announced as one of Wolves' new reinforcements.
Douglas Costa played in 29 matches during the 2019-20 campaign, only making the starting line-up on 11 occasions. His exit from Juventus appears more than likely, although it seems that the Italian club will have to offer something more if they are to seduce Barcelona.
