Juventus target Joakim Maehle as Alex Sandro substitute

Juventus are continuing to prepare for the next part of the season. The Turin outfit are reportedly interested in reinforcing their full-back position and are reportedly targeting Atalanta's Joakim Maehle. 

The player's departure from Bergamo would not be easy, as his contract expires in 2025. Therefore, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the transfer could involve a loan with an option to buy, at a cost of 15 million euros. 

Juventus' financial situation makes it necessary to carry out the operation in this way, and in addition, they will consider Maehle's level, should he sign for the 'Bianconeri', in order to exercise the purchase in the summer. 

The Dane is currently playing for Denmark at the World Cup in Qatar thanks to his impressive performances. He made 20 appearances for Atalanta this season and provided four assists, making him Gasperini's first-choice centre-back.
