Juventus have agreed a deal with Atletico Madrid for defender Guilherme Siqueira, Goal can confirm.
The Brazilian still has three years to run on his contract at the Vicente Calderon but Bianconeri general director Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici struck a deal with Atleti officials on Tuesday.
Siqueira will join the Serie A champions on a year-long loan but Juve are obliged to make the deal permanent at the end of the 2015-16 campaign for a €10 million fee.
All that remains now is for the Bianconeri to agree personal terms with the 29-year-old, with the player expected to put pen to paper on a contract that will net him €2 million per annum.
Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri made a new left-back one of his priorities this summer as he intends to use the versatile Kwadow Asamoah in midfield this season and wanted direct cover for Patrice Evra.
The Old Lady had set their sights on Alex Sandro but were repeatedly rebuffed in their efforts to sign the Brazilian by Porto.
Consequently, the Scudetto holders turned to Siqueira, who is expected to seal his move to Juventus Stadium inside the next 48 hours.
