Juan Bernat, an alternative for Barca at left back

Barcelona are continuing to look for a reliable replacement for Jordi Alba. Junior Firpo looks like he will leave Barca to go elsewhere.

The Catalan outfit, who got closer to Kurzawa and also De Sciglio, have apparently increased thier interest in Juan Bernat in recent weeks.

He is a footballer who still has more to offer, offensive characteristics and similar way of playing to that of Jordi Alba. But, unlike Kurzawa, he will not be a free agent.

The former Bayern Munich player's contract ends in 2021, so whoever wants him will have to fork out money for him.

'Sport' mentioned the La Liga side's interest and confirmed that Bernat has a good relationship with Jordi Alba, something which would help if they end up playing together.

According to the Catalan paper, Barcelona are apparently waiting to see whether PSG finally get hold of Alex Telles or not, a player who was also on Barca's radar.

If the Porto man arrives, PSG will make it lot easier for Juan Bernat to leave. At this moment in time, he is more likely to stay in the French capital than Kurzawa.
