Liverpool need a string of wins if they are to play in next year's Champions League. The Reds hosted relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest at Anfield, who were also desperate for points.
After a first half in which there were few chances, Klopp's side took the lead in the 47th minute. After Alexander-Arnold put one into the box from a teasing corner, it bobbled up onto Fabinho's head, who popped it across the face of goal where the Portuguese forward was lying in wait to put home what will surely be the easiest goal he'll score this season.
However, the Anfield side were given little time to celebrate as the Tricky Trees hit back just four minutes later. Former Liverpool man Williams found the net after going forward on the break. It was a strong effort from the outside of the box, but Scot Andrew Robertson did his best to block it, only deflecting it past Alisson who could only watch as it flew past him.
But if there is one thing that characterises Liverpool at Anfield, it is that they don't throw in the towel and Klopp's side, far from being dismayed by the equaliser, took the lead again just four minutes later. Jota scored his brace with an amazing strike. The Portuguese man cushioned down the ball over the top before opening up his body and firing home the volley.
