'Jordi Alba and Luis Enrique have a complicated relationship'

The Sevilla utility man admitted that he didn't enjoy the best relationship with Enrique during their time together at Barcelona, saying: "I had my ups and downs with him, well, more downs than ups, but he was a fair guy and when I earned my place and he decided that I was ready he made space for me in the team.

"The people who are open and show you who they are are the people that are worth the trouble."

Finally, Vidal gave his verdict on how Enrique will cope in charge of the national team. "I genuinely think it will go well for him as Spain boss," he insisted.
