Jordi Alaba returns from suspension as Barca reveal squad list for Elche

Jordi Alba's inclusion in Barca's squad list for the game against Elche at the Martinez Valero stadium is the main inclusion. The full-back, whose great form was halted by being suspended for the Athletic Bilbao game, is back in the Barca squad, the club announced.

Xavi Hernandez has not recovered any of his injured players. They are Samuel Umtiti, Sergi Roberto, Alex Balde and Ansu Fati. They were not expected to recover in time so that is no surprise. The idea ahead of the trip to Elche is keep up the good form the club has shown in recent weeks. 

The full squad list is the following: Marc-André Ter Stegen, Sergiño Dest, Gerard Piqué, Ronald Araujo, Sergio Busquets, Riqui Puig, Ousmane Dembélé, Dani Alves, Memphis Depay, Adama Traoré, Neto, Nico, Clément Lenglet, Pedri, Luuk de Jong, Jordi Alba, Ferran Torres, Óscar Mingueza, Eric García, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Carevic and Gavi.

Barcelona are favourites for the game against Elche and even more so after beating Athletic Bilbao 4-0 last weekend. Although it is true that Marcelino kept some of his best players fresh for the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg, Barcelona showed that they know what the coach is asking of them and that they can get good results.
