Jeremie Boga joins Sassuolo for £3.6m

Boga joined the Blues academy in 2009, but has made just one first team appearance.

He spent most of his time on loan for clubs such as Rennes, Granada and Birmingham City.

The Ivory Coast international had spoken out in interviews about his frustration at being loaned out constantly by the Stamford Bridge club.

He revealed that he would prefer to move on than to remain with the club and go out on loan.

He spoke to 'Foot Mercato' and said: "I have clear ideas about my future. This is my third season on loan."

"I have a lot of experience [after] the end of the season and I feel ready for next year to either fight to try to establish myself at Chelsea or to leave the club."

"I do not really want another loan."
