Isco curled home a fine free-kick against his former club before pleading forgiveness

With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric all left in the Spanish capital it was up to the Spaniard to provide Real Madrid's creative spark in Andalusia.

The former Malaga man delivered, looking a class above throughout and finding the opener with a wonderful free-kick.

With 29 minutes gone, Isco curled the ball over the wall and into the corner of the net beyond the despairing dive of Roberto in the home goal to open the scoring, beforing turning to what used to be his home crowd and asking for forgiveness.
