Is this Ibrahimovic's last dance?

Sweden's failure to book their place in the 2022 Qatar World Cup may have sparked a change of mind from Ibrahimovic. He may now be thinking differently about playing next season. Everything points towards the big Swede hanging up his boots in June. 

His current season has been marred by injury and he has missed 12 games in total during this most recent round of the Serie A. According to 'La Gazetta dello Sport', Ibrahimovic is seriously considering his future.

Sweden's ticket to the 2022 Qatar World Cup was snatched from them by Poland in the final of the European qualifiers. If the match had gone the other way, the Swede would have renewed with Milan for another season. However, as he will no longer be needing to prepare for a World Cup, his plans for next season have changed.

Ibrahimovic has played an important role in the matches he has appeared in for Milan. The 'Rossonera' are in the running for the Serie A title, just one point ahead of Napoli as it stands. 

Ibrahimovic has scored eight goals in this round of the Serie A, and has made two assists. But now, his fitness is diminishing. At 40 years of age he has been suffering from muscular problems that are beginning to hold him back.
