Inter to take on Champions League without Palacio and maybe Icardi

Inter will be taking on Champions League-chasing rivals Roma without Rodrigo Palacio due to his impending ban and it's unlikely that injured Mauro Icardi will be able to play either.

Icardi injured his knee during Inter's 2-1 win over Bologna on Saturday . He was replaced by Geoffrey Kondogbia after only 11 minutes at San Siro, however the extent of his knee strain is still unknown.

Inter manager Roberto Mancini is hoping that the fitness of Icardi will improve ahead of the trip to the Stadio Olimpico for the Champions League qualification.
