Milan Skriniar and Inter Milan are close to agreeing a contract renewal deal for the Slovakian defender, whose contract expires at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
According to 'Corriere dello Sport', the Italian side had already made an initial offer based on a more long-term contract with the club and also offered him the chance to wear the captain's armband. Now, Skriniar would now sign a new contract with an increasing salary from 5,5 million euros per season plus bonus.
The defender is currently paid around three million euros per season and this would be his second renewal since joining the team.
His new contract would have no buyout clause and it would run until the 2026-27 campaign. Skriniar intends to become the key player of Inter and stay with them for many more years to come.
