Inter lead race for Bernardeschi

After five seasons at Juventus, it looks as though Federico Bernardeschi is ready to pack his bags. His spell at Juventus is getting ever closer to its end, especially considering the fact that the two parties have failed to reach an agreement concerning his renewal.

He has almost 200 Juventus matches to his name. But now, at the time he is looking to move on, he has clubs posied and ready to begin their fight for his signature.

It has been rumoured for a while that there will be a 'Derby della Madonnina' between Inter and AC in the race to sign the player. A possible arrival at Barcelona has also been rumoured, but everything seems to point towards the player staying in the Serie A.

Now, 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' has announced that the 'Rossoneri' have faltered in the race to sign him, and the team managed by Simone Inzaghi has emerged as the front runners.

Federico Pastorello, his representative, has began scouting the player's next best destination. Inter appear to be the best option at this moment in time, both economically and in a footballing sense.
