Peter Crouch went viral on social media with an photo which he posted of himself shooting just like Mbappe did for his second goal against Argentina in the World Cup final. It led to all sorts of opinions and reactions.

"Incredible from Mbappe, but I was doing this s**t in 2006," the former Liverpool player wrote. This led to some people not understanding the humorous element of the tweet and thinking he was trying to compare himself to Mbappe. 

As is common on social media, many users look to jokingly respond. An answer which has gone viral and includes a video of Crouch's volley going well wide of the target.
