"In January I'm leaving Leverkusen"

The draw between Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen buried the Spanish side's chances of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League.

After the match, Paulinho spoke to 'TNT Sports Brasil' and confirmed that he will not remain with the Teutonic side at the end of the current season. 

Asked if he would return to his native country, the striker commented: "It's a possibility, but I can say that I will sign a pre-contract with another team in January.

However, Paulinho, who came on at half-time against Atleti, did not say which club he will sign for: "In January everyone will find out where I'm going".
