Ilaix's agents want him to go to RB Leipzig for free

Problems for Barcelona with regards to Ilaix. Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, says that Ilaix and his agents reached an agreement with RB Leipzig months back which will see the player join the club in July 2022, when he will become a free agent. 'Mundo Deportivo' also reveals that the youngster has told the player that his desire is to leave the Bundesliga.

This is a setback for the club because an agreement to sell him to Tottenham was very close to happening. The priority for Barca's board is that, if they have to get rid of their academy player, they should at least get some good money for him. 

Barca do not want him to spend another campaign at the club and then go to Germany without the club getting a single euro for him. Joan Laporta's opinion has been made clear in several public appearances. He is not at all happy with the footballer's behaviour. 

What is the reason for him not to stay at Barcelona? Money. Both the president and coach said in press conference that the player would only renew if he got more money in his contract.
