Borussia Dortmund appears to have closed their squad for next season with the arrival of Jude Bellingham. The post-COVID-19 transfer window seems to prevent millionaire signings and therefore Jadon Sancho, who was expected to leave, might en up staying after all.
However, Borussia already has a possible substitute for the hypothetical case in which the English player leaves.
The Signal Iduna Park squad have their eye on Jonathan Ikone, a former PSG youth product who has shone brightly at Lille.
Ikoné left PSG in 2017 and went on loan to Montpellier, where his performance impressed many before the Parisians transferred him to Lille in 2018 for five million euros.
At Ligue 1, Ikone has made 77 appearances in two seasons, scoring seven goals and providing 17 assists.
According to 'The Times', Borussia Dortmund would be willing to pay around 45 million euros for his transfer, but first some big stars would have to come out, including Sancho.
