Iglesias put Betis in front

Football is a matter of form. Everyone knows it, but it never hurts to remember it. That's what Borja Iglesias did, a striker who has gone from being in the shadows to becoming the goalscorer in vogue at Betis.

Against Barcelona, Iglesias opened the scoring in the 38th minute of the match. The ex-Espanyol player received a Emerson cross from the right and, in the box, got ahead of his marker to beat Ter Stegen with a first-time effort.

It was Busquets who lost his man. When he saw that he lost Iglesias, the midfielder stood watching and lifted his hand and asked for an offside that was non-existent.

With this goal, Iglesias increases his goalscoring streak which started in the cup against Real Sociedad. A brace helped his side go through, and he got another goal against Osasuna in the league. After not scoring against Athletic in the cup, the striker scored again against Barca.
