Pablo Fornals will soon be back on the pitch as a fixed member of the West Ham squad in the 2022/23 Premier League season. The Spaniard recently sat down with 'Marca' to give his thoughts on his career in England's top flight.
"We're lucky that there are so many title contenders, although Chelsea, Liverpool and City are the closest. We're in a league where if you forget about someone, you'll pay for it", he said.
On West Ham and the 'Big Six', Fornals said that it is "difficult due to the super high level", but the club has been "fighting for two years and doing things well" to be in and amongst the highest positions in the league.
On a personal level, the centre midfielder wants "to continue on the same track as in recent years" because he has been "feeling good".
"It's a club where I feel very comfortable and where I have grown as a footballer. I think I'm going higher and I like that", he concluded.
