Ianis Hagi joins Steven Gerrard's Rangers

Rangers have been successful in their negotiations with Genk to sign Ianis Hagi on loan. Rangers will have him until the end of the season, but they will have a purchase option on him. 

The squad Steven Gerrard has at his disposal keeps on increasing as they try and win the Scottish Premier League off Celtic. 

"Rangers are today delighted to announce Ianis Hagi has joined the club on loan from Genk until the end of the season," the club wrote on their website. The Romanian attacking midfielder joins to bolster Rangers' attack and to be the link between the midfield and the strike force. 

The former Genk footballer has scored three goals and given four assists so far this season. Rangers will be hoping he can deliver for them as well as they look to beat Celtic to top spot in the league.
