"I told Areola he wouldn't play at PSG"

"I said to Areola that it would be difficult because PSG have never trusted keepers who have come through their system. In fact, the signed Keylor Navas as the number one and Sergio Rico as the number two," he said in an interview with 'Courrier Picard'. 

Nicolas Dehon continued: "PSG are not very different to Real Madrid or Manchester City. No keeper who comes through their academy ends up starting there. Anyway I believe that Areola can triumph."

Keylor Navas decided to leave Real Madrid for the Parc des Princes at the back end of the transfer window. A signing which made Real Madrid react as a matter of urgency. They went for Areola who could not get into the PSG team. 

Up to now, the French keeper has still yet to make his Real Madrid debut, as was expected before he joined them. However, the ex-PSG man had a controversial episode with Real Madrid fans on his return to the Parc des Princes.
