'I spoke with Neymar; I think he regrets leaving Barcelona'

Adriano now plays for Besiktas but played six seasons with Barça, after arriving in the summer of 2010 from Sevilla, leaving in 2016 for the Turkish team. He spent three seasons with Neymar at the Camp Nou, who left the Catalan side a year after his compatriot.

This was exactly what Adriano focused on in an interview. The 34-year-old defender said he had been in contact with the PSG star recently and believes he may regret choosing to leave Barcelona for the Ligue 1 side.

"I spoke to Neymar about three weeks ago. All of us who have been at Barcelona and leave regret it, him even more so," said the defender.

For the Brazilian, belonging to the Azulgranas was a dream come true: "People tell me that I had a very good career, the truth is that I have been blessed. My arrival at Barcelona was one of the most important moments of my career, to be able to win all those titles...".

Adriano also spoke about the upcoming La Liga clash between Barça and Atletico, a match that could decide Barcelona's season': "Barça is a favourite in all competitions and will go for the hat-trick," he said, although he acknowledged their 2014 La Liga win was deserved by Atletico.
