After a long wait, the Champions League last-16 ties are finally here. This Tuesday, PSG-Bayern and Milan-Tottenham will get the first-legs underway and Sergio Ramos spoke pre-match.
The Spaniard has still got great memories of the battles against the German side with Real Madrid: "When I think about them, I think about the day I scored against them in 2014. We know that they're one of the best teams we could've gone up against, it's a huge challenge. But overcoming challenges would be a very positive message to send to the world. To win the Champions League, you've got to beat the best, and Bayern are up there every year".
However, the Sevillan also spoke about what he hopes to do once he hangs his boots up. "I invest a lot of time into football, and I've not had a lot of time for my family in recent years. Therefore, when I retire I'm going to spend two years with my children, see them grow up, do normal daily things which you can't do normally being involved in football, like skiing, take my kids on holiday without pressure, take them to tennis club... try and have a normal life", he said.
"I'll have to be more switched on with my money, but at the end of the day what gives me adrenaline and what gets me going is football. I've done it my whole life and it's what I like the most. I could see myself being a President, Sporting Director or a manager in the future", he added.
