Belgium's Thibaut Courtois lamented that his side were unable to score "one more goal" against Chelsea (2-0) in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final and hopes they "don't" regret it in the return leg.
"When you play against ten, you have the feeling that you could have settled the tie, but they can go away with the feeling that they could have scored a goal. The 2-0 is a good result, but there's still the feeling of scoring a third or fourth goal. I hope we don't regret not scoring one more goal here," he commented on 'Movistar Liga de Campeones'.
"They had a good start with a very good counter-attack. Then to make a save after the goal is worth a lot. I was very happy with that save from Sterling," he added.
"In the second half we played a very complete game defensively. We just failed to keep long possession in the last two minutes," he said
Courtois did not want the tie to be over. "We have to approach it as if we were tied, like we did against Barcelona, we needed to win. If you go out with a mentality of 'well let's see what happens' you get 2-0 down quickly, like we did against them last year. I hope we get off to a good start and score the first goal," he said.
