"I hope Rafael Leao stays at Milan"

Italian press reported in the last few weeks that Rafael Leao intends to leave Milan for next season as several top European clubs are interested in him.

Former Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko gave his opinion on the Portuguese's possible departure and admitted he would like him to stay at the Italian club.

"I hope Rafael Leao stays at Milan. It’s the right team for him to grow gradually. They won the Scudetto last season, and he’s showcasing himself in the Champions League this year," he said.

Moreover, he also spoke about Charles de Ketelaere and his current situation at Milan: "Charles De Ketelaere is skilled but maybe has to gain more self-confidence and awareness on his qualities," Shevchenko concluded.

We will have to see what happens in the next transfer window but Shevchenko is confident that the two strikers can stay and continue to grow with Milan.
