"I have the four or five most important years of my career left"

Milan striker Alvaro Morata said on Friday he can still extend his career by four or five more years, in what he thinks will be the "most important" of his career. In October, he will turn 32, but he is not thinking about retirement.

"The white hair shows when a player has some experience. I learned from many coaches, from many teammates and I think I still have the four or five most important years of my career," he said in an interview with 'Sky Sports'.

The striker also revealed that next Sunday's game will not be the first Milan derby in which he will be at the legendary San Siro. "I'm looking forward to the derby. I've been to the San Siro to watch a couple of derbies as a fan. I wanted to breathe that atmosphere. Even from the outside, you realise how much this match is worth. I'm looking forward to the experience of scoring in a derby and winning it, to make Milan fans proud," he said.

"Inter are very competitive, they have a great team. We have to play with heart. You can miss a pass or a chance, but you have to give everything on the pitch, you have to be hungry in a derby. You can't fail in that," added Morata.
