Joao Felix is having a difficult season at Chelsea because he saw red on his debut and missed two games. However, he has been a regular starter for Graham Potter since joining in January.
He has scored just one goal in six competitive matches and former player Darren Bent spoke about the Portuguese player's current situation on 'talkSPORT': "I have been impressed with Felix. I think his all-round play has been good. I do think for someone, of his quality and ability, the numbers should be better.
"Maybe we look too much at numbers because he is playing well. It’s almost like, if you haven’t got a goal or an assist, then he’s rubbish and not worth the money. But I like him and I think he has done well," he continued.
Bent was asked if he thinks Chelsea should have signed Felix and he said: "Yeah, if he is gelling with the squad and playing well, unless you think you can find someone in that position who can be better than him, then I would try to sign him. I would actually sign him because he is 23.
Moreover, he spoke about whether Arsenal should sign the Portuguese striker: "100%. No, (he wouldn’t start for Arsenal). Have you seen Odegaard’s performance at the weekend? So, does he start ahead of him?," he concluded.
