Ralf Rangnick's arrival at Man Utd has come on the back of a win in midweek (with Carrick still in charge) although the team looked very difficult to how they've been playing this season.
Before facing Crystal Palace, the German manager asked for time for his ideas to be implemented at Man Utd. Rangnick wants to convert Man Utd into "pressure monsters" and that will take its time.
"You have to be aware of what players you have and what their position is. They have experience and are intelligent enough to know that, but I cannot convert the players right now into pressing monsters. I want them to be ready in two, three or four weeks," he said in comments to the English media.
Rangnick did not mind comparing himself to one of the most important coaches in the Premier League and in Europe like Jurgen Klopp: "I'm not so far away from him in terms of style of football, it's not a secret. This is the biggest club which I've worked for, the biggest club in the world. The important thing is to understand the club's DNA and. at the same time, implement it in the transformation to modern football."
