"I am sure that Atletico will lift the Champions League trophy one day"

Atletico Madrid have been excelling after the World Cup. The Madrid side have been encouraged and are trying to give excitement to a La Liga that seems almost decided. Goalkeeper Jan Oblak gave an interview to 'TVE' in which he reviewed part of the current 'Colchoneros' news.

"It is very difficult to win La Liga. Sunday's clash is very important. Let's see if we can give a bit of excitement", began the Slovenian.

On the team's form: "The mood of the team is much better than before the World Cup in Qatar. However, it is interesting to start better to be able to be higher at this stage".

"Until the day I'm at Atletico Madrid, I'm going to do everything I can to try to win something more with this club. In every training session I'm working to try to be the best," he continued.

Finally, Oblak spoke about the 'Colchoneros' bad luck with the Champions League: "I'm sure that this club will one day win a Champions League because, in a history of 120 years, they deserve it.
