Elseid Hysaj is close to moving to a new club and new city, but he would still play in blue. After six seasons at Napoli, his contract expires this summer and the club have made the decision not to renew him.
Therefore, the Albanian has started to look elsewhere. The 27 year-old is an experienced player who has made more than 200 Serie A appearances and got 59 caps for his country.
Both AC Milan and Real Betis were keen on him in the post. However, their interest has waned over time and it looks unlikely he will join either of those clubs.
According to 'Il Messaggero', Lazio are now the main club likely to get hold of his services. In fact, the cited media outlet says that the final touches are being put to the contract which would see Hysaj earn 1.8 million euros a season. He will reportedly pen a four or five year contract.
