Hugo Lloris spits out dragonfly during Uruguay win

Both countries looked for the goal from the first minutes, but Lloris instead got an insect in his mouth.

The cameras captured the moment in which the French goalkeeper ate some sort of grasshopper which he then spit out instantly. The incident luckily didn't happen during a Uruguay attack.

Undoubtedly, this World Cup is giving us images of all kinds, and this has been one of the funniest and most repugnant of the tournament.

Other than the bug incident, Lloris has a strong game.

In the opening 45 minutes he made a vital stop to deny Martin Caceres after a header was powerfully directed towards the bottom corner.

France are now through to the semi-finals which will take place next week.
